XJLink-FE18

XJLink-FE18 is a USB-connected programming controller used to link your PC to the target flash device. It is capable of programming over Single, Dual, Quad and Octal SPI and can parallel program up to 2 target flash devices. It can also provide power to your device(s) if needed.

Connecting XJLink-FE18 to the target flash

The XJLink-FE18 contains a standard 20-way 0.1" (2.54mm) connector that can be used to connect directly to the target device(s) or used with the recommended XJA-0030 splitter board which adds additional ground pins to ensure signal integrity. The 20-way connector has slightly different pin mappings for each Data Connection Mode (selected in the XJExpress user interface).

XJLink-FE18 device

Pins 10 and 20 on the connector (or all even numbered pins on the XJA-0030 splitter board) are connected to ground within the XJLink-FE18.

Every effort should be made to connect ground pins on the XJLink-FE18 to ground on the target board.
