BSDL files with custom cell types

Some BSDL files contain custom cell types whose definitions are not defined by the IEEE 1149 standard and are not included within the file itself. In this situation you must associate a package file containing the appropriate cell definition with the file. This is done using the custom cell type dialog.

The custom cell types are listed in the dialog. Select one and then use the Add... button to add the supplied package files for the device. A package file may contain multiple cell types and will be displayed underneath the appropriate missing cell types. For each missing cell type, once the package file has been added, select the package file and then click the Set button to select that file.

Custom cell type information is displayed in the details pane of the library when a BSDL file is selected. Clicking on the list of cell types will open the custom cell type dialog.
