File Menu

  • New... - creates a new project from scratch.
  • Open... - opens an existing XJTAG project, first closing any currently open project.
  • Import:
    • Old XJTAG project... - imports an XJEase project file (*.xje) from XJTAG Version 1.4 or later to create a new XJTAG project (*.xjd) file.
    • Import SPEA Leonardo Project... - opens the Import SPEA Leonardo Project Dialog to create a new project by importing a Leonardo project.
  • Close Project - closes the current project and returns to the Start Screen.
  • Save Project - saves the current project.
  • Save Project As... - opens the Save As Dialog to save the project and associated files to a new directory.
  • Export project - exports the current project to one of the available file formats:
    • To XJPack File... - opens the XJPack Dialog to export the project using XJTAG's XJPack format, suitable for use by XJRunner.
    • To Zip file... - opens the Zip Project Dialog to export the project as a zip file. This can be useful if you need to send a project to us for support reasons.
  • Create Revision... - opens the New Revision Dialog to begin creating a new revision of the current project.
  • Open Project Location... - opens the folder that contains the project file in Windows Explorer.
  • Recent Projects - displays a list of recently opened projects. Clicking on one of these items will close the current project and then open the selected project.
  • Exit - closes XJDeveloper.

Test Device Files screen options

These options are available from the Test Device Files screen.

  • Add Device File... - allows you to create a new device file or add an existing file to the project.

Circuit Code Files screen options

These options are available from the Circuit Code Files screen.

  • New Code File... - allows you to create a new code file and add it to the project.
  • Add Code File
    • From File... - allows you to add an existing code file to the project from disk.
    • From Library... - allows you to add a code file to the project from the XJEase Library.

Code Editor options

These options appear when the Test Code Editor is being used on either the Test Device Files screen or the Circuit Code Files screen.

  • Revert - discards any changes in the file that is currently being edited.
  • Close File - closes the file that is currently being edited.
  • Close All Files - closes all files that are currently open.
  • Save <filename.xje> - saves the file currently being edited.
  • Save All Files - saves all files that are currently open.
  • Print - prints the file that is currently being edited.

Logic File screen options

These options are available from the Logic Files screen.

  • New Logic File... - creates a new LDD file in a location of your choice.
  • Logic Definition
    • Create definition in Logic File... - allows you to select the file to which you want to add the new definition, and enter the name of the new definition.
    • Remove definition from Logic File... - allows you to choose the file and logic definition within that file to remove.
  • Truth Table
    • Create table in Logic File... - allows you to select the file to which you want to add the new truth table, and enter the name of the new truth table.
    • Remove table from Logic File... - allows you to choose the file and truth table within that file to remove.
  • Close File - closes the document, whether is it a Logic Definition or Truth Table.
  • Close All Files - closes all documents that are currently open.
  • Save File - saves the current document.
  • Save All Files - saves all documents that are currently open.
