Stage 1: Unfitted Rules

Stage 1 of the Revision Checklist asks you to confirm that the rules for defining unfitted devices in the original revision apply to the new one as well.

Assuming you have a similar BOM structure for the new revision, this is likely to be the case, but XJTAG recommends checking anyway by clicking the link in the task to open the Unfitted Suggestion Rules dialog.

When you have confirmed the settings and the data, click OK in the Unfitted Suggestion Rules dialog. If you made any changes, the Refresh button in the bottom right will tell the wizard to analyse the board again to take account of the changes you have made. Finally, click OK again in the task to advance to stage 2.
