Keeping Library Files Up to Date

XJTAG periodically updates XJDeveloper's XJEase library. This can be to add support for new devices or to improve the tests for devices already supported. If you have user-defined libraries that your company controls centrally, they also may have occasional updates. It is recommended to keep all your libraries up to date.

This user guide describes best practices to follow when responding to library file updates. The following topics are covered:

• How to respond to library file updates.
• How to deal with updates that affect XJEase files that have been edited.

• If the library files are working correctly in existing projects, it is recommended that an update is only performed when adequate time is available to verify the updated project.
