Tracking Dialog
Changing the active mouse mode to tracking will bring up the Tracking Dialog. It is used to show details of the objects at specific points. Nearby features, however close, are not shown.
One line is shown for each layer in which any selectable object has a feature at the point. Document and text features, that are not associated with a net, pin or component are ignored.
One row is shown for each relevant layer, in layer order. The columns are:
- Layer - the name of the layer.
- Component - the name of any component present on that layer at that point.
- Pin - the name of any pin present.
- Net - the name of any net present.
- Diameter - the size of the diameter of the feature if one is available.
Any information too complex to fit in the previous columns is listed in the last column. This may be a second net that overlaps the first mentioned net, or a second ring of a different diameter.
