Stages 5-10: Devices

• More information about categorising the different device types is availble in the Categorising Devices chapter of this guide.

The next few stages continue to guide you through the process, covering Test Devices, Logic Devices, Passive Devices, Unfitted Devices, Ignored Devices and finally Excluded Devices. For each of these, you will be shown a list of the devices which Revisions believes are matches for devices from the original project. Any new devices will be added later in the process. Once you have approved or rejected all the entries, and checked over the list of automatically assigned ones, you can move on to the next stage.

If you disagree with any of the suggestions, they can be rejected here and dealt with manually in XJDeveloper at any point. In this case, you would categorise them in the same way as during normal project setup.

• Remember, similar devices are often grouped together by having very similar match confidence percentage scores which can help you accept multiple changes at once.
