Configuring XJFlash: running XJFlashSetup
XJFlash needs to gather some information about your project and your system in order to create your custom flash programmer.
In order to set this up, you need to run XJFlashSetup in your XJDeveloper project, which will launch a two-step graphical configuration wizard:
- Step 1: Specify the FPGA manufacturer and select the part number.
- Step 2: Specify which pins to use on the FPGA for the clock, and its frequency.
The board to be programmed does not need to be connected to the XJLink2 in order to run the setup steps - it only needs to be attached when you come to actually program the flash.
