Running XJTAG Tests From Viva

In order to run integrated testing, you must configure the board you are testing to have External Hardware setup in the XJTAG project.

When configuring External hardware (on the Boards screen in XJDeveloper), first set the machine type to be Seica and then in the next step of the wizard supply the .NOD file generated/supplied by Seica (this file can also be used as the netlist when creating the UUT board). Following this you will need to set up voltage domains for all accessible test points, or mark them as Excluded to prevent XJTAG using them.

With that setup complete, the tests can be run. Seica's Viva software will need to be configured to have a test step for performing boundary scan tests, during which it will respond to XJTAG's requests for probe movement.

The number of available probes in the machine can be set within Seica's python script and XJTAG will observe this setting.
