Copying the DLL

To use the XJTAG DLL it needs to be copied into the Keysight/Agilent ICT directory. The XJTAG installer puts the DLL into a subdirectory of the XJTAG bin directory, typically \Keysight i3070\xjtag.dll. Keysight specify that the DLL can be copied to one of two directories, depending on whether you want it available for all boards or just specific ones:

• Keysight_ICT\ext_dev
• Keysight_ICT\boards\<board name>\custom_ext_dev

N.B.The Keysight_ICT directory may be renamed Agilent_ICT, depending on the version of their software you are using.

Ensure that the XJTAG installation architecture type matches the Keysight one: if Keysight is 64-bit (x64), then the 64-bit version of XJTAG must be installed and if Keysight is 32-bit (x86) then XJTAG must be 32-bit also.
