Cursor Tools

Different cursor tools can be used to navigate and interact with schematic PDF files. These can be accessed from the Tools menu and by right-clicking on the schematic view.

• Pan

  Navigate the schematic document by clicking and dragging on the schematic viewer. The viewing window will move with the cursor while dragging.

  Holding down Ctrl when in another mode will temporarily change the cursor to this mode.

• Text Selection

  Allows any text in the schematic to be highlighted by clicking and dragging the cursor over it. This text can then be copied to the clipboard or used to initialise a Netlist Search or a Text Search.

  Holding down Shift when in another mode will temporarily change the cursor to this mode.

• Zoom

  Allows zooming actions to be performed on the schematic. By default the zoom cursor tool will be in Zoom In mode; click to zoom in on the schematic one step. Clicking and dragging using this tool will initiate a marquee zoom which allows you to zoom to a specified rectangle.

  Pressing and releasing Ctrl will switch the zoom mode of the tool between zooming in and zooming out; when in Zoom Out mode, click to zoom out of the schematic one step. Clicking and dragging will initiate a marquee zoom which allows you to zoom out beyond a specified rectangle.
