JTAG Chain Debugger

The JTAG Chain Debugger has two functions:

Setting a pin mapping

Setting up the correct Pin Mapping on the XJLink JTAG controller and (if necessary) setting up the test reset sequence.

Debugging faults

Help in tracking down faults in the JTAG chain.

The JTAG Chain Debugger is principally for use in setting up your JTAG chain and verifying that it is functioning well and reliably, prior to trying to use it to run tests.

User Guide

There is a User Guide entry which explains how to use the JTAG Chain debugger to setup a suitable pin mapping and then verify or troubleshoot the JTAG chain's operation.
