Selecting Files From the BSDL Library

It may be necessary to select a BSDL file from the BSDL Library when configuring the JTAG chain in applications such as XJDeveloper. Selecting devices from the BSDL library is done using the BSDL File Selector dialog.

It has the same layout and displays the same information as the BSDL File Library Browser, however there are no options to add, remove or move categories or BSDL files from the library.

In order to select a BSDL file, locate it in the appropriate category, and then click the Select button.

If a file has been deleted or moved from the directory stored in the BSDL Library, the device listing in the category's device list will be coloured red and displayed in bold text. Files that cannot be found on disk cannot be selected by the BSDL File Selector and the Select button will not be available if one is highlighted in the BSDL file list.
