File menu

This menu contains commands to open and save project files and to exit XJAnalyser

• New Project... - launches the Project Setup Window, allowing you to start a new project or open an existing one.
• Open Project... - allows you to open a previously created project file.
• Import Project... - allows you to import an older project into XJAnalyser.
• Close Project - closes the current XJAnalyser project.
• Edit JTAG Chain... - brings up the project setup window to edit the JTAG Chain. This option is only available if the project was set up within XJAnalyser. If the project has been imported from XJDeveloper, the JTAG Chain must be edited within XJDeveloper.
• Save Project - saves the current project configuration, prompting if necessary for a filename and location.
• Save Project As... - open the Save As Dialog to save the project and associated files to a new directory.
• Recent Items - a list of shortcuts to recent projects which can be opened directly.
• Exit - closes XJAnalyser.

When you are saving a new project for the first time and have assigned library BSDL files in setting up your project, you will be asked whether to copy those files to a different directory.
