Variant-Profile Mapping Dialog
In projects that use variants, each test group must specify whether it should run or not in each variant. Test groups should be set to not run in variants where the devices they test are unfitted or inaccessible.
This dialog can be launched from the Edit Test Group dialog to edit a single test group or, to edit several test groups at once, select multiple test groups on the XJRunner Tests pane and click the Edit... button.
Projects With Dynamic Chains
For projects that also use dynamic chains, each variant must also select a profile to use when running this test. This is referred to as a test group's variant-profile mapping.
When a variant is first added to a project on the Variants screen, the mapping is filled in with the same profile used in the root project. For variants without JTAG device variations this will likely remain the correct profile for this test group. For variants where the JTAG chain is affected, the variant-profile mapping lets a test group continue to be shared between variants by allowing the tests to be run with different JTAG or NJTE access as required.

For each variant, a profile can be selected from the dropdown to determine the profile that will be used when running this test group. The list of available profiles for each variant is controlled from the Variant Details section of the Variants screen. A variant can alternatively have Do not run selected to indicate this test group will not run in that variant.
Projects Without Dynamic Chains

For projects without dynamic chains, the dialog appears in a simplified format. For each variant, a checkbox is provided to enable or disable the test group.
