Recording
When troubleshooting a problem with XJTAG Support, it is often useful for the support engineer to be able to reproduce the problem without having your hardware. Recording is a feature that records all JTAG accesses to and from your board and allows the support engineer to run XJAnalyser themselves as if your hardware were attached.
Recording is switched on by clicking Help-<Record JTAG Accesses. You will be prompted for a log file to save the recording to. The menu entry will now be checked to indicate the recording is enabled; click it again to disable. Note that recording can only be enabled or disabled when there is no project open. The option is greyed out once a project has been opened.
Once the recording has been made, exit XJAnalyser, and then zip the log file and e-mail back to XJTAG support.
