Truth Tables

A Truth Table Document

A truth table describes a logic gate and is used within one or more Logic Definitions.

Each contains a Name and optionally a Description. These are used by the Navigator.

  • Click Add Column... to create a new column. Enter the name for the new column in the dialog. To add more than one column, separate the list with commas:

  • Click Remove Column... to remove a column. Select more than one column to remove multiple columns:

Values in Truth Tables

Each entry in the table must be one of the following values:

  • L - Low Input
  • H - High Input
  • X - Either Low or High Input (Don't care)
  • Z - High Impedance Output
  • 0 - Low Output
  • 1 - High Output
