Tutorial

There is a tutorial for XJRunner to introduce you to how it works.

Starting XJRunner

There are multiple ways to start XJRunner, from the start menu, command line or by clicking on an XJPack (*.xjp) file.

Using XJRunner

Depending on how you start XJRunner you may begin in different states. If you simply select XJRunner from the Start Menu, a welcome screen will be displayed. From here you can open a project, unless your system has been set to require users to log in via the User Management settings, in which case you must log in before you can open a project.

If you launch XJRunner by double-clicking a project (*.xjp) file you will be prompted to log in if necessary, after which the project will open.

If your system requires you to log in then after you have done so but when no project is open, the welcome screen will display your current user name and privilege level.

From the welcome screen you can open a project using the buttons on the screen. If you have user management privileges you will also be able to manage the user database via the button on the screen or from the item in the Tools menu.

When a project is open, XJRunner shows the main screen, which allows tests to be run. Depending on user and pack file privileges, the toolbar buttons at the top allow management of XJRunner users and the current project settings, as well as providing access to the logs created by XJRunner.

XJRun

XJRun provides a command line interface for running tests directly from XJPack files.
