XJTAG Log Files

XJTAG Log Files have a .xjlog file extension and when configured in the project settings are produced automatically when tests are run in XJRunner, XJDeveloper or XJInvestigator.

The filename of the log file can be configured to contain various bits of information like the date, time, board serial number, XJLink serial number. Given this, it is not always guaranteed that a log filename will be unique, and in fact it is often a requirement that logs from the same XJLink or for a single serial number are all combined. For this reason the log file is able to contain information about multiple test runs.

Log files can be opened and viewed using the Log File Viewer. Documentation is also provided so that users can create their own tools to handle the data contained in them and integrate the information contained into their existing processes and tools.
