Pin Properties

The following information is displayed:

  • Name - displays the name of the device the pin is on.
  • Number - displays the number of the current pin.
  • Type - the type of the pin. One of In, Out, InOut, Buffer, TAP, Linkage or Grouped.
  • Compliance - displays whether or not the pin is a compliance pin i.e. the BSDL file specifies a state that the pin must stay in for the device to stay in JTAG mode.
  • Constant - if the pin has been set constant, displays the value to which the pin has been set (low/high/input). If the pin has not been set constant, displays None.
  • Write Value - displays the write value of the selected pin.
  • Read Value - displays the read value of the selected pin.
  • Outputting - displays whether the pin is currently driven.
  • Input Cell No. - the index in the boundary register of the input cell for this pin, if it is of type In or InOut.
  • Output Cell No. - the index in the boundary register of the output cell for this pin, if it is of type Out, InOut or Buffer.
  • Control Cell No. - the index in the boundary register of the control cell for this pin, if it is of type InOut or Out.
  • Control Cell Disable Value - if the pin has a control cell, this is the value the control cell requires to disable the output of the pin.

If the project includes netlist information (i.e. has been created/edited in XJDeveloper), the following information is also displayed on the dialog:

  • Net - displays which net the selected pin is on.
  • Other JTAG Pins on Net - displays which other pins are on the same net.
