Editing Board Information

Board information can be edited later from the Boards screen. The Edit Board dialog box can be opened at any time in various ways: by clicking the Edit... button at the bottom of the screen, by double-clicking in a column, or by right-clicking on the board and selecting Edit from the popup menu.

Alternatively, specific actions relating to the BOM, schematic, unfitted rules, or External Hardware / ICT information can be accessed directly from the buttons at the bottom of the screen (shown in Figure 29) or by right-clicking anywhere on the board row:

• Double-clicking in the different columns of a board’s entry has different effects depending on which column is being used. For example, double-clicking in the BOM File; column will open a dialog box to import a BOM file, whereas the same action in the Description column will open the Edit Board dialog.
