Priority of Constant Values
In XJTAG, each of the different types of constant has a priority. This means that if a net has multiple pins with opposing constant values set on them, XJTAG will use the priority of the constant types to determine the value that is actually to be applied. If opposing values are applied with the same priority (e.g. opposing Constant Pins or opposing Disable Values) then XJTAG will choose a value and will show a warning that it has done so, so that the issue can be investigated.
The priority of constants is as follows:
Source | Priority | Comment |
---|---|---|
TRST Constant | Highest | Cannot be overridden |
Constant Pins screen | ||
Compliance Value | Set by BSDL file | |
Disable Value | Lowest | Set by XJEase device file |
