Assistant Pane

The XJDeveloper Assistant provides a helpful guide through setting up a circuit in XJDeveloper. It aims to guide the user through configuring the circuit in a logical manner, and ensure that no major steps are forgotten. Links in the text direct the user to the relevant screen where the next item can be configured.

It is important to realise that it is not possible for the Assistant to detect when circuit setup is complete; however it can highlight any required parts of the setup which are missing and prompt the user to complete them.

When the Assistant can no longer detect any missing parts of the project it will indicate this, and the user must then check whether any more configuration is needed. When this state is reached, test coverage can be calculated and any configured tests can be run.
