XJTAG Tutorials
If you are just starting out with XJTAG, we have produced a set of tutorials to help you become familiar with our software.
XJDeveloper
If you have been provided with an XJDemo board with your XJTAG system, you can use the XJDeveloper tutorial to learn to set up projects with XJDeveloper and test the results on the XJDemo board:
- XJDeveloper Tutorial for XJDemo v4 hardware.
The tutorial consists of a core section that gives essential knowledge of how to set up a simple XJTAG project, plus some optional exercises that are intended to help if you have particular situations that you need to deal with in your own projects.
The tutorial can be run using an XJLink2, an XJLink-PF series controller or a PXI-XJLink2 JTAG controller.
If you are planning to use XJDeveloper to work on boards for which you do not have a netlist, then you can use the
to learn how to do this. This tutorial also requires you to have an XJDemo v4 board.
XJRunner
- The XJRunner Tutorial shows how to use XJRunner, XJTAG's production tool. It uses a project set up to test the XJDemo v4 board. Any of XJTAG's JTAG controllers can be used, but you will need the supplied adaptor if using an XJLink-PFxx controller for this tutorial.
XJAnalyser
- The XJAnalyser Tutorial also uses an XJDemo v4 board, and can currently only be used with XJLink2 or PXI-XJLink2 JTAG controllers.
XJInvestigator
XJInvestigator does not have its own tutorial. However, the key features are shared with XJRunner and XJAnalyser and completing the separate tutorials for these products (above) should give you a good level of familiarity with how to use XJInvestigator. Further help can be found in the XJInvestigator application reference.
