Custom Cell Types

Some JTAG devices contain cells whose behaviour is not modelled completely by any of the standard cell types defined in the IEEE JTAG standards. These custom cell types are often defined in a separate package file supplied along with the BSDL file by the manufacturer.

Package files can be added and removed in the Configure JTAG Device dialog.

When a BSDL file requiring additional package files is selected, the undefined cell types used in the file are displayed in red:

Add the package files using the Add Package... button. The package files for a BSDL file are then displayed with them in the BSDL File panel:

Package files can be removed with the Remove button.
