Pin Mapping, Power and Test Reset Sequence Setup

Before it is possible to scan the chain for ID codes, you must choose the correct interface between the XJLink and the circuit under test. This is done by configuring the following;

• JTAG pin mapping, including defining the power option used to power the board.
• Test reset sequence.

by clicking on their respective tabs in the window. Clicking Next > will take you to the Device Configuration step.

During this process, you must use the type of JTAG controller that you intend to use with the final project. If using an FTDI device, you must also select which channel is connected to the JTAG chain.
